My Story

Hi there! I'm Adelle Ramsden, founder and owner of Kanine Kartel. I stumbled into dog walking about 11 years ago. I used to work in real estate when I became the proud mum to the two gorgeous pups you can see in the photo. As most of you probably know, once you have your furry little one, being away from them becomes really tough. I couldn't head to work without worrying about what the boys were up to, whether they were doing okay, or if they missed me as much as I missed them. I had a wonderful dog walker helping out at the time, but it still didn't stop me from missing the boys every single day. So one day, I made the decision to launch my own dog walking business, and eleven years later, I've never regretted it. Sadly, four years ago I lost both of my boys as they got older. But over these last 11 years, I've been blessed to be an aunty for many other wonderful pups. Head over to the gallery section and you'll get to meet all of them! Throughout the past eleven years, I've really grown Kanine Kartel tremendously. We kicked off with dog walking using a tiny gold fiat, then upgraded to a small white caddy van, followed by a bigger van, and today we transport dogs in a twelve-seater, fully air-conditioned dog bus. Our progress wasn't just about vehicles either—we've come a long way from walking dogs in public parks. Now I'm fortunate to have two acres of completely fenced and secure land all to myself where my amazing dogs can enjoy playtime with no interruptions
